POSITION OPENING

Watauga County Project on Aging is accepting applications for the position of In-Home Aide.  Work involves the provision of home-based care to elderly and disabled adults.  Graduation from high school and CNA certification required.  Must have some experience in homemaking and/or basic health care or equivalent combination.  Salary grade 2, $23,500.  County benefit package includes health insurance, paid holidays, vacation and sick leave, and mileage reimbursement.  Hours are M-F, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm; no nights or weekends.  Application deadline is Friday, June 12, 2015.  Apply at NC Works Career Center, 130 Poplar Grove Connector, Boone, NC 28607, (828) 265-5385.  Watauga County is an EEOE.
