Fees

Regarding Watauga County Sheriff’s Office, all services requiring payment must be paid, we except all major credits cards with the exception of American Express. We do except cash or check on special circumstances. All fees are NONREFUNDABLE.

  • Fingerprinting
    • $10.
    • All New Applicants need to be Fingerprinted and Must Call to make an appointment: (828) 265-7612
  • Report Copies
    • The first page to each incident is available. This should be sufficient for insurance claims. Any subsequent pages require a court order before release.
  • Concealed Handgun Permits
    • New Application: $90 (includes fingerprinting)
    • New Application for Law Enforcement and Veterans: $45 (includes fingerprinting)
    • Renewal Application: $75
    • Renewal Application for Law Enforcement and Veterans: $40
    • Duplicate Permit: $15
