POSITION OPENING
Watauga County Board of Elections is accepting applications for the position of temporary One-Stop Election Workers/Office Clerks. This position performs a variety of duties to support the activities of the Board of Elections. Duties include secretarial responsibilities, communication with the general public, and the ability to lift voting equipment, which weighs up to 25 pounds. Graduation from high school, good typing and basic computer skills required. Salary $10.50 hourly (non-regular classification, no benefits). Position will require some training, will begin work in October 2021, and will last approximately 2-4 weeks. Some weekend work will be required.
