POSITION OPENING
The Watauga County Tax Administration Office is accepting applications for the position of Motor Vehicle Valuation Specialist. Under regular supervision position performs intermediate clerical work involving the listing of property taxes. Duties include listing real estate, motor vehicle, personal property and business personal property taxes; assisting the public; entering data; maintaining records and files; and preparing reports. Position requires the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates and the general public. Graduation from High School and some clerical experience required. Salary grade 7, $30,623. County benefit package includes health insurance, paid holidays, vacation and sick leave.
