      ASA Softball Umpires are needed for Watauga County Parks and Recreation’s Adult Slow Pitch Softball League. Softball games are played Monday through Friday between 6:00 pm and 11:00 pm. Work schedule is flexible. Pay rate is $13.50 per game. The 2010 ASA Softball Umpire’s Clinic will be held April 10th at the Optimist Clubhouse in Boone, NC. This class is mandatory for those who wish to umpire adult slow pitch for Watauga County Parks and Recreation. The ASA Softball Umpire Clinic will teach the ASA slow pitch softball rules and positioning mechanics. Pre-registration is required. The registration fee is $25 per person (lunch is provided) and must be paid the day of the clinic.
