Watauga County Parks and Recreation offers Adult Volleyball for both Men and Women. Two divisions of Women’s Volleyball are offered: Division A (Competitive) and Division B (Recreational). The program begins in mid January and runs for 8 to 10 weeks. Each team will play an average of 2 - 3 matches per week. A match will consist of three games. All teams will be guaranteed 12 matches. Games will be played Sunday afternoons (start times between 1:00 pm and 6:00 pm) and weekday evenings (starts time between 6:00 pm and 9:30 pm). Participants must be 16 years of age or older and must be residents of Watauga County. The registration fee of $250 per team must be submitted to Watauga County Parks and Recreation along with the completed registration form no later then 5:00pm on Monday, January 6, 2014.
Watauga County Parks and Recreation offers Fall League Adult Softball beginning in early August. The Recreation department offers Co-ed Softball, Women’s Softball, and four levels of Men’s Open softball during the fall season. The entry fee is $350 per team and all teams are guaranteed 11 games. Games will be played Monday – Friday with start times ranging from 6:00 pm to 9:45 pm. Play will begin the week of August 12. Registration deadline is 5:00 pm on Monday, August 5, 2013.

All teams will be guaranteed 12 matches. Games are played weekday evenings (starts time between 6:00 pm and 9:30 pm). Participants must be 16 years of age or older and must be residents of Watauga County. Teams must play with equal number of males and females on the court or more women than men. The registration fee of $250 per team must be submitted to Watauga County Parks and Recreation along with the completed registration form no later then 5:00pm on Monday, September 16, 2013.
Watauga County Parks and Recreation's Spring League Adult Softball begins in early April. The Recreation Department offers 5 divisions of Adult Softball during the spring season: Men’s Open A (most competitive league), Men’s Open B, Men’s Open C (recreational), Men’s Church League and Women’s Open League. The entry fee for Men’s Open A and Open B is $515 per team and teams are guaranteed 18 games. The entry fee for Men’s Open C, Men’s Church, and Women’s Open leagues is $450 and teams are guaranteed 15 games. Games will be played Monday – Friday with start times ranging from 6:00 and 9:45 pm. Over 50 Softball League is an ASA Slowpitch Softball League open to men and women over the age of 50. The entry fee if $280 per team. Each team is guaranteed 10 games. Watauga County Parks and Recreation offers three leagues of Adult Basketball: Men’s Church, Men’s Open, and Women’s Open. Registration fee for Men’s Church and Women’s Open is $450 per team, with 13 games guaranteed. Registration fee for Men’s Open is $495 per team and teams are guaranteed 15 games. The registration fee must be submitted with the team registration form by 5:00 pm on Monday, November 4. Teams will play weekday evenings (6:00pm and after) at Old Cove Creek Gym. Teams must supply reversible jerseys with a number on the front and back. Participants must also be 16 years of age or older. Participants must be residents of Watauga County, full time college students or employed full time in Watauga County. Additional restrictions are placed on Church League participants.
